Today the estate extends over 50 hectares where 35 hectares of vines, 5 hectares of olive and lavender trees and 10 hectares of oak and pine woods come together. The vineyard is thus spread over the terroirs of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vaison La Romaine and Visan with vines aged from 1 year, for new plantations, to around 100 years, for the oldest.
🏞️ Vineyards & Terroir
A small vineyard plot in the prestigious area of Chateauneuf du Pape, called Pied de Baud. The sandy soils are renowned for producing Chateauneuf du Pape of tremendous length, elegance and finesse.
🍇 Grape Varieties
The unique grape variety of our Châteauneuf du Pape and César cuvées, Grenache noir, is the king of the Domaine and is found in all our red cuvées. From the oldest strains, planted in goblets on the northern slope, to the last twenty years old plantations, Grenache brings body, elegance and finesse to our wines.
The Syrah is planted in Buisson and Visan, and brings a beautiful freshness in the wines. Syrah is in the blend of Tradition, Nature, Visan and Marius Cuvées. it is the ideal companion for Grenache.
Carignan sur Buisson and Mourvèdre planted in Visan represent confidential productions that can be found in Tradition cuvées.
In 2019 and 2020, the vineyard was enriched with plots of Cinsault and Counoise. We can’t wait to see them go into production and bring new fruity aromas.
🌱 Viticulture
Very early on, Vincent was convinced that it was essential to preserve this privileged environment. This is how he converted the entire estate to Organic Agriculture and then to Biodynamics. All wines and cultures are thus certified by Ecocert and Demeter.
🍷 Wine Style
Our work in Biodynamics promotes a natural balance in the vineyard that we find in the wines. This balance brings the richness of the earth and promotes the full expression of the fruit. It highlights the complexity of our wonderful terroirs.
The homogeneity present throughout the range is the fruit of the biodynamic management of the estate, of love and respect for our vineyard. All our wines combine the power of fruit, gluttony, finesse and elegance. They naturally have a good length in the mouth, both for the fruity cuvées and for the great cuvées.
